Currently, there are many types of Aircraft Carriers that are present in the US Navy, Each type has its own work, the quantity of Aircraft which can be carried by that particular Aircraft Carrier. 1. USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72)

USS Abraham Lincoln is the fifth Nimitz-class aircraft carrier in the United States Navy. This Ship is the second Navy ship to have been named after the US Former President Abraham Lincoln. The home port of this ship is NAS North Island, San Diego, California; she is a member of the United States Pacific Fleet.

USS Carl Vinson is the United States Navy’s third Nimitz-class supercarrier. This Aircraft Carrier is named for Carl Vinson, a Congressman from Georgia, in recognition of his contributions to the United States Navy. The ship was launched in the year 1980, undertook her maiden voyage in 1983, and also underwent refueling and overhaul between the year of 2005 and 2009.

USS George H.W. Bush Aircraft Carrieri the tenth and final Nimitz-class supercarrier of the United States Navy. The Super Carrier is named After the 41st President of the United States and former Director of Central Intelligence George H. W. Bush, who was also a naval aviator during World War II.

8. USS Hornet (CV-8)

USS Hornet (CV-8) is the seventh U.S. Navy vessel of that name, This Aircraft Carrier was a Yorktown-class aircraft carrier of the United States Navy. USS Hornet is an Essex-class aircraft carrier that was built for the US Navy during World War II. It was completed in late 1943, the ship was assigned to the Fast Carrier Task Force in the Pacific Ocean, the United States navy’s primary offensive force during the Pacific War.
